Years 7,8 and 9

Our curriculum is, in line with legal requirements, not simply a collection of subjects or experiences. Our curriculum is coherent as a whole and it places as much importance on academic achievement as well-being.

We understand that academic achievement cannot take place without well-being. They are two sides of the same coin.  This is why we not only track academic progress, but we also, systematically, discuss students' well being so that we can alter our pedagogy in line with students' changing needs.

By the end of year 9 students will be ready to take advantage of the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences that GCSE, and later on adult life, will present.
