Sixth Form Beyond The Curriculum

Life in Redhill High School’s Sixth Form is about much more than academic study — it’s about developing independence, confidence, and a sense of community that prepares our students for life beyond school. We believe that education should be a balance of challenge, enrichment, and enjoyment, and our Sixth Form experience reflects that ethos.

Building Connections and Confidence

The year begins with our Sixth Form Team Building Day, designed to help students form strong bonds within their year group. Through collaborative challenges and outdoor activities, students strengthen communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills while getting to know one another in a supportive and relaxed setting.

Soon after, students take part in the annual London Trip, an exciting opportunity to explore the cultural, political, and historical heart of the capital. This trip not only enhances students’ subject knowledge and curiosity but also nurtures their independence as young adults navigating the world beyond school.

Social Life and Community

Our Sixth Form community is lively and welcoming. Students enjoy a range of Sixth Form Socials throughout the year, from relaxed evenings to celebratory events, helping to maintain a strong sense of belonging and friendship.

The dedicated Sixth Form Common Room provides a comfortable and inclusive space for study and relaxation, featuring a pool room for friendly competition and a coffee machine that’s always in demand during study breaks! This space is central to Sixth Form life — a place where students can unwind, share ideas, and build the lasting friendships that define their Redhill experience.
